It is Better if You Come with Me: An Exploratory Investigation of Study Abroad Program Effects on Internationalized Career Interest

We conduct an exploratory study about abroad programs in business schools. In a small sample, we find satisfaction with the experience is positively related to participants’ reported willingness accept jobs that require international travel and work collaboration. Additionally, students who developed relationships during their were more likely evaluate positively, indicating fostering important factor for leaders consider. also employed homesickness as variable, finding expected negatively experiences, which may explain some reluctance abroad.
